David Spade: Girls Date Me Because I'm Normal
David Spade has romanced some of Hollywood's most beautiful ladies, including Lara Flynn Boyle, Teri Hatcher, Carmen Electra and Heather Locklear. On Labor Day, he's expecting his first child with ex-girlfriend, March 2005 Playmate of the Month Jillian Grace. So what is the secret to his Rules of Engagement?
Normalcy.
"Everyone is so weird in L.A. that if youre somewhat normal, its exotic," he tells OK!. "That has been the only reason some girls have dated me."
However, normalcy only flies in the surreal stratosphere of Hollywood. Away from the glitz and glam, David doesn't think he'd be such a ladies' man.
"That goes a long way in a crazy town like L.A. If I moved to the Midwest, it wouldnt work," he says. "If you live in a place where everyones cuckoo, that stuff somehow pays off."
While he has dated a bevy of leading women, David has yet to tie the knot. He isn't against it, though, but rather just waiting for marriage to "catch me off guard."
"I dont want to do it unless I can get it right," he says. I take it seriously. Everyone has about a two-year run [at marriage], and I think thats the max. If you asked me, 'Could you be married for two years?' Id say, 'Yeah, probably.' Thats how most people in L.A. go into marriage. I dont think anyone mentions to them that marriage is supposed to be your life, like, [for] 50 years."

Natalie Portman - Portman Regrets Big Screen Sex Scene
Actress NATALIE PORTMAN hates a sex scene she filmed for movie HOTEL CHEVALIER - because critics and reviewers focused on her nudity and not the film itself.
The star recorded the scene last year (07), and admits she regrets stripping off on the big screen as her picture ended up on pornographic websites.
She says, "It's not that I regret the film, but it really depressed me that half of every review on the film was about the nudity. It made me think I shouldn't have done it.
"I'm not prudish about nudity. I think it's beautiful in films, and sex is such a big part of life. My issue is that I feel it takes something away from what you're doing when the focus is put on the wrong thing. My picture ended up on porn sites, and that's the dilemma."

Qloud Launches My Music Application on MySpace
Largest Social Network
WASHINGTON, June 3 -- Qloud, (http://www.qloud.com), the
revolutionary ad-supported music service that delivers users online music
from an endless library, today announced that it launched its My Music
Application on MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/music_app), the world's most
popular social network. Qloud's My Music application enables MySpace users
to import and play entire songs and videos from their complete iTunes
library on their MySpace profile for free. It also allows users to see and
play the iTunes libraries of their friends, view and exchange playlists
with their friends, browse and play the most popular songs among their
friends and social groups, and add songs to their own online libraries.
Empowered by MySpace's newly announced Developer Platform
(http://developer.myspace.com), Qloud was able to easily build, test, and
ultimately deploy My Music.
One of the most popular music applications, the My Music application
allows users to enjoy a personal library within MySpace while showcasing
their favorite songs and artists on their profile. Using the iTunes plugin,
users can import their entire iTunes library into MySpace and set their
display as either a custom list of favorites, their recently played songs
or most played songs from iTunes. My Music also automatically creates a
personal starter library for users as soon as they install the application
based on the artists they have listed on their profile. In addition, the
application connects users to their friends' music and allows them to view
each friend's library, as well as view charts of the top tracks played by
all their friends.
For those who don't use iTunes, the My Music application has its own
library of over 6 million songs that users can search, listen, and then add
to their own library, playlists and favorite lists -- all from inside the
application.
MySpace first introduced their Developer Platform site on February 5,
2008 beginning a one month application development period allowing
companies including Qloud, time to build and test their applications in a
secure environment before going live to the MySpace community.
On March 13, 2008, MySpace launched the public beta of the Application
Gallery (http://apps.myspace.com), enabling broader testing of approved
applications by allowing public installation. MySpace members can now
discover and add new applications from a variety of categories, including
My Music, to both their home and profile pages.
"Bringing My Music to MySpace will allow a new group of users to
discover and play an unlimited amount of tracks," said Mike Lewis,
co-founder of Qloud. "People, especially MySpace users, want to find even
more music whether it's from bands they're already familiar with or from
their MySpace friends. This application allows these users to share songs,
tell others about their favorite tracks and artists, and find music."
As with all MySpace Developer Platform applications, My Music will be
able to safely access publicly available profile information including a
user's friend list, interests, photos & albums, video, as well as status &
mood. My Music will have real estate in five places within MySpace
including:
-- A MySpace application profile (users can "friend" the apps)
-- Access to embed applications on the user homepage (inward facing -- for
you to see)
-- Access to embed applications on profiles (outward facing widget -- for
friends to see)
-- An application gallery listing
-- A canvas page
"Openness has always been critical to MySpace's success, and My Music
perfectly exemplifies the kind of unique and engaging applications we are
seeking for the MySpace Developer Platform," said Kyle Brinkman, vice
president and general manager, MySpace Developer Platform. "We are
committed to not only enriching our user experience with high caliber
applications, but aiming to create real businesses for developers."

Britney Spears Cut From Pussycat Dolls Video
The pop wreck filmed a clip for the Pussycat Dolls' music video in which she returns to her natural blonde locks.
Spears filmed the segment in a car in Los Angeles last week, and a source tells Usmagazine of her appearance: "They all wave at each other as they are passing in traffic - that is it. Of course, Britney looks hot and blonde.
"It is a very short sequence, but (Spears) had a lot of fun with it. Britney really likes the Dolls' music and when she saw them on the MTV (Movie Awards), she was totally down to do the video."
But the cameo has now been shelved for good for reasons as yet unknown, reports MTV. Maybe the burlesque group were worried about being overshadowed by the Toxic singer?

Neil Diamond - Home Before Dark
The set-up remains the same: no big arrangements, just low-key, acoustic songs with Diamond wandering through relationships failed and fulfilled - making the same connection with the listener from either.
If you enjoyed '12 Songs' there'll be nothing here you won't. Opener 'If I Don't See You Again' is the album's masterpiece, and an instant one at that - others take longer to appreciate.
Throughout Diamond sounds like one of those rare-getting-rarer talents for whom age should hold neither fear nor embarrassment. And at its best 'Home Before Dark' recalls the words of Browning: "Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be."
